Gainborough WordFest
I had an absolutely wonderful tie at Gainsborough WordFest on the 13th September with Paula from Lincolnshire Writing Well. We were very lucky and the rain stayed away, letting us meet a variety of people, young and old, to discuss the pleasures of writing and, of course, my book.

Meet the Author
A huge thank you to Lincolnshire Writing Well for inviting me to join them at the Admiral Rodney in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.
It was a lovely evening where I got to meet Paula from LWW as well as numerous people who popped along to chat and take part in different writing activities. I particularly enjoyed rummaging in the object box, then writing for 10 minutes about that object. I selected a stone in the shape of a heart that reminded me of a similar stone my youngest son gave me when we were walking on a beach many years ago. Yes, I still have it, along with a collection of other stones and shells!
Discussions about my book, why I chose to write it and the publishing process were very animated and provoked a lot of interest.
